In the late afternoon, your camel caravan leaves Merzouga and heads into the dunes. The sand changes color as the sun drops, and by the time you reach camp the sky is turning pink and gold.
Dinner is a tagine cooked over the fire, followed by drums and songs from the camp team. Then it's just you, the dunes and a sky full of stars. Early the next morning, climb a dune for sunrise before riding back.
