About an hour from Chefchaouen, the Akchour valley is a different Morocco: green, cool and full of running water. We follow the river trail up to the waterfalls, stopping at pools where you can swim in summer.
On the way back we take the path to God's Bridge, a natural stone arch high above the river, and stop for a simple lunch at a riverside cafe.
About an hour through the Rif Mountains.
